The Lennefer Bach , also called Lennefe for short , is a 13.6 km long left tributary of the Sülz in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

The stream rises about 850 m east of Lindlar at an altitude of 287  m above sea level. NHN . The stream flows through the already mentioned Lindlar, flowing mainly in west-south-westerly directions. Accompanied by the state road 299, the brook passes the villages of Unterheiligenhoven , Vellingen , Kepplermühle , Köttingen , Lennefermühle , Halfenslennefe before the brook on the left at Melessen at 104  m above sea level. NHN flows into the Sülz . The Lennefer Bach drains a 28.067 km² catchment area via Sülz, Agger , Sieg and Rhine to the North Sea . With a height difference between the source and the mouth of 183 m, the mean bed slope is 13.5 ‰.

Tributaries

The most important tributary of the Lennefer Bach is the Vossbrucher Bach with a length of 4.3 km. Of the 28.067 km² large catchment area of ​​the Lennefer Bach, 4.775 km² belong to that of the Vossbrucher Bach, which corresponds to a share of 17%.
