Les Costes is a former French commune with the last 177 inhabitants (at January 1, 2014) in the Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belonged to the Gap arrondissement and the canton of Saint-Bonnet-en-Champsaur . The residents call themselves the Costins.
With effect from January 1, 2018, the former municipalities of Chauffayer , Saint-Eusèbe-en-Champsaur and Les Costes were merged to form Commune nouvelle Aubessagne . The status of a Commune déléguée was not granted to them in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Chauffayer.

Les Costes is located in the French Maritime Alps . The neighboring villages are Saint-Jacques-en-Valgodemard in the north, La Motte-en-Champsaur in the east, Saint-Eusèbe-en-Champsaur in the south and Chauffayer in the west. Les Costes includes the hamlets of Le Maissubert (formerly Mas Hubert), Le Maisseret, Le Villaret, Les Courts, Malarua and Roaffan.
