Li Zhonghai (born April 20, 1986 in Jilin ) is a Chinese cross-country skier and biathlete .

Li Zhonghai lives in Changchun . He was initially active as a cross-country skier. The Chinese competed in his first race, a sprint in the Far East Cup , at the end of 2004. Further FIS and Far East Cup races followed until 2006. In March 2006, Li made his debut in Changchun in a sprint in the cross-country skiing world cup and became 42. Further missions followed sporadically. Only in his last race, a 15-kilometer run in Changchun in February 2007, was he able to win World Cup points for the first time in 26th place. The only major event was the 2007 Winter Universiade in Pragelato , where the best result was 41st place in the 30-kilometer race.

In 2008 Li switched to biathlon, where he is trained initially by Kui Guangqing and now by Xiaofeng Wu. He played his first international competitions in 2009 as part of the IBU Cup in Altenberg . The Biathlon World Cup debut followed in Ruhpolding , where he was 96 in the sprint competition. Li started three times at the 2009 Biathlon World Championships in Pyeongchang . In the individual he finished 78th, in the sprint he was 99th and with the relay he reached 24th place together with Zhang Qing , Zhang Chengye and Chen Haibin .
