Liane Bednarz (born March 28, 1974 in Wuppertal ) is a German publicist and lawyer .

Life

Bednarz studied law at the universities in Passau and Heidelberg and with a DAAD scholarship in Geneva ( Switzerland ). In 2005 she was at the University of Heidelberg with the dissertation own Acquiring shares pursuant to § 71 para. 1 no. 8 AktG for Dr. iur. PhD . In October 2016 it became known that, before the publication of her book Dangerous Citizens: The New Right Seizes the Middle , which she had written with Christoph Giesa , Bednarz had various names, companies and terms deleted from the final manuscript at Hanser-Verlag. Bednarz cited her former employer, the Munich law firm Noerr, and its interests as the reason.
