The Liberal Gays and Lesbians (short name: LiSL ) are a liberal support organization of the FDP in Germany . The LiSL were founded as an association on June 26th 2010 in Gummersbach to shape LGBT , gay and lesbian politics from a liberal perspective.

LiSL is a preliminary organization of the FDP, which is currently represented by state associations in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Berlin, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia. She works closely with the Federal Working Group on Gay and Lesbian Policy of the Young Liberals and the Federal Social Affairs Committee of the FDP.

The current board is supported by the assessors Jürgen Lenders , (parliamentary initiatives), Manfred Krönauer (program and support local / state), Ulrike Lucas (networking women) and Mark Stanitzki (member recruitment).

Rolf Würz (association contacts), Bernd Ostermayer (seminars, scientific contacts), Ignacio Mendez (LGBT migrant projects, diversity in the economy), Sina Grosser (recruiting women) and Helmut Metzner (member of the LSVD federal board) have joined the board.

history

The founding chairman was Manfred Donack from Frankfurt, who was re-elected at the federal members' meeting in November 2011. At the general assembly on November 17, 2013 in Cologne, the former Dortmund member of the Bundestag Michael Kauch was elected federal chairman. From 2003 to 2013 Kauch was the coordinator of gay and lesbian policy in the FDP parliamentary group and the liberal CSD campaigns.

The Federal Association LiSL contributed to the Hirschfeld Days 2012 of the Federal Magnus Hirschfeld Foundation, an event on diversity in work.

Politics / Current Demands

After marriage for everyone and joint adoption by married couples were enforced across all parties in the summer of 2017 , LiSL continues to demand the removal of existing discrimination against homo, bisexual, trans and intersexual people, LiSL advocates better opportunities for rainbow families (including permission for egg donation and non-commercial surrogacy ), takes action against the exclusion of homosexual men in blood donation, calls for diversity in companies, education in schools and the consideration of gays and lesbians in work with young people and the elderly.
