The Lienzer Hütte is a refuge of the Austrian Alpine Club of the Lienz section . The hut is open from the beginning of June to the beginning of October. In the winter months, the winter room is available, which is accessible via an Alpine Club lock . Members of the Alpine clubs can obtain the key from their section for a nominal fee.

getting there

By car via Lienz in East Tyrol from there to Nussdorf-Debant further on the supply road into the Debant valley to the Seichenbrunn car park at 1686  m above sea level. A.

Approaches

  • Option 1: From the Seichenbrunn car park via the nature and culture trail to the Lienzer Hütte (walking time approx. 1 ½ hours).
  • Option 2: From the Seichenbrunn car park via the supply road to the Lienzer Hütte (walking time approx. 1 hour).
  • Option 3: From Lienz with the gondola to the Zettersfeld , continue with the 4-seater chairlift to the Steinermandl, from there the marked Lienzer Höhenweg (path no. 938) to the Lienzer Hütte (walking time approx. 4 ½ hours).
