Liepen is a district of the city of Friedland in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
Geography and transport links
Liepen is located southwest of the core town of Friedland. The B 197 runs to the northwest and the A 20 to the southwest . The Eichhorst nature reserve extends to the east in the Schönbeck Forest .
