Limbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Strengberg municipality in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 92 building areas with 51,207 m² and 165 gardens on 497,695 m² in the cadastral municipality of Limbach, in 1989/1990 there were 93 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 167 and in 2009/2010 there were 195 buildings on 362 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture and, to a lesser extent, forestry. 381 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 106 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 419 hectares and 107 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 387 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 124 hectares. The average soil climate number of Limbach is 40.1 (as of 2010).
