Linda Grant (writer, 1942)

Linda Grant , pseudonym of Linda VerLee Williams , (born May 28, 1942 ) is an American writer and educator.

Life

Linda VerLee Williams studied English at the University of California at Berkeley . She then joined the Peace Corps (Peace Corps) in, traveled to Ethiopia and taught from 1966 to 1968 on behalf of the Ministry of Education in schools at all educational levels. After returning to California , she taught as a lecturer (instructor) at the University Extension, University of California and worked as a staff member at The Learning Circle in Berkeley. In 1983 she wrote a non-fiction book on learning methods and in 1986 a guide to using the EasyWriter program .

Under the pseudonym "Linda Grant" she made her debut in 1988 with the first crime novel Random Access Murder in the six-volume series Catherine Sayler Mystery . Some of the volumes have been translated into German and French. Linda Grant wrote several comic books in the Star Wars series . She is a long-time member of the Sisters in Crime network and has published short stories in Sisters in Crime Volumes 3 and 4 and other anthologies .
