Linda Hesse (born May 22, 1987 in Halberstadt ) is a German singer .

life and career

Linda Hesse grew up in her hometown Halberstadt. She attended the Käthe-Kollwitz-Gymnasium and took singing lessons. In 2004 she was a participant of the Sat.1 - talent show Star Search . After graduating from high school , she became a member of the pop music group Wir3 in 2007 .

In 2011 Hesse began her solo career. On October 26, 2012, she released her debut single I'm not a man . On February 15, 2013, their debut album Punktgenaue Landung was released .

Hesse was photographed as a cover girl for the June 2018 issue of German Playboy . In September 2018, Linda Hesse was seen as a candidate for Fort Boyard .

social commitment

The singer's social commitment applies above all to children and adolescents suffering from cancer. In 2014, Hesse became an ambassador for the German Cancer Aid campaign With all my might against cancer . On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the organization, she dedicated her song with all strength to it . In 2016 she gave an exclusive concert for children with cancer at the Charité Berlin with her bandmate and life partner André Franke . In 2017, she continued her musical encounters with an exclusive concert in the Clinic and Polyclinic for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital in Dresden .
