This article needs to be revised: The article has not only been out of date for a certain year , but was in part already when it was first created. Main source for this: Distrowatch . KDE was last used in 2004. Quantitatively relevant, probably 2008 in connection with netbooks ( Acer Aspire One ). Distrowatch classifies Linpus Linux as "dormant" because an OS version was last released in 2014. Apparently there is no longer a "Downloads" page. The manufacturer only mentions a single product “Linux Lite OS Vendor” on its homepage (Distrowatch: “commercial” - see many years old posts on the discussion page ). If you are interested, you should send it an email - so hardly any more “Low-cost laptops” and Chinese “masses” targeted (no source was given for “Chinese Linux”). There was no evidence for the other allegedly offered products anyway. The article is identical to the oldest version from 2008 except for the mention of newer "Lite" versions . Distrowatch states the popularity of Linpus Linux Lite as "unrated". An article from 2008 is unsuitable to prove the current capabilities of "Linpus Linux". 14:16, Oct. 3, 2017 (CEST)

Linpus Linux Lite

Linpus Linux Desktop

The free download of Linpus Linux Lite, Linpus Linux Desktop and Linpus Linux Media Center is currently only possible via the manufacturer's server, although long loading times are to be expected in some cases.
