The Lis (sometimes spelled Lys ) is a river in France that runs through the Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitania regions. It rises under the name Lis Daban in the municipality of Ger , generally drains north-east to north and flows 29 kilometers into the municipality of Larreule as a left tributary into the Échez . On its way, the Lis crosses the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées departments .
