Elisabeth Graf-Riemann (born July 29, 1958 in Passau ) is a German writer , translator , editor , editor and specialist book author.

Life

Elisabeth Graf-Riemann attended the Adalbert-Stifter-Gymnasium in Passau. She studied Romance studies (literary studies, Spanish, Portuguese) and ethnology (focus on Mesoamerica) at the LMU in Munich , Murcia ( Spain ) and Coimbra ( Portugal ) and completed this degree in 1984 with a Magistra Artium. After graduation, she worked as a permanent freelance editor at Kindler's New Literature Lexicon and wrote numerous articles on Latin American literature. Since 1985 she has been working as a freelance editor, author and editor for large German publishers such as Kindler , dtv , Langenscheidt , Cornelsen , Klett and Hueber . Since 2005 she has also appeared as a writer of fictional works under the name Lisa Graf-Riemann. The author is a member of the Syndikat (authors' group of German-language crime literature) and of the Murderous Sisters . There she was a member of the jury for the award of the annual scholarship in 2016 and a mentor in the mentoring project in 2016/2017. She lives in the Berchtesgadener Land near Salzburg and has a son and a daughter.
