Lisa Gabrielle Tucker (born June 13, 1989 in Anaheim , California ) is an American actress and singer , who became known as a participant in the talent show American Idol . She finished tenth in the fifth season in 2006.

Life

Tucker was born in Anaheim and has two older brothers. Both brothers were background singers and choreographers for Tucker's 2002 concert.

At the age of 16, she auditioned for the fifth season of American Idol in Denver, Colorado with the song One Moment in Time by Whitney Houston . Simon Cowell said at the time she was the best 16-year-old singer he has ever seen on the shows. On March 29, 2006, she had to leave the show in 10th place.

Tucker is also a songwriter , guitarist , pianist and is learning the drums .
