Liselotte Landbeck (born January 13, 1916 in Vienna , † February 15, 2013 in Quintal , Haute-Savoie , France ) was an Austrian figure skater and speed skater who started for Austria and Belgium .

In speed skating , Landbeck won the first unofficial world championship for women in Oslo in 1933 and also set several world records over 500 meters and 1000 meters .

In figure skating, Landbeck was Austrian champion in the women's competition in 1934 and 1935. She took part in this sport from 1932 to 1936 in all European championships . In 1934 in Prague and 1935 in St. Moritz , she was runner-up in Europe behind the Norwegian Sonja Henie . Landbeck took part in the World Championships in Zurich in 1933 and in Oslo in 1934 and won the bronze medal at the 1934 World Championships in Oslo behind Sonja Henie and Megan Taylor from England . In 1935 she married the Belgian figure skater Robert Verdun in Vienna and moved with him to his home country.
