List of Chinese Earthquake Natural Monuments

The list of Chinese earthquake natural monuments is based on the list of the state-protected typical ruins of earthquakes in the People's Republic of China ( Chinese  国家级 典型 地震 遗址 , Pinyin Guojiaji dianxing dizhen yizhi  - "National typical ruins of earthquakes"). This is from the Chinese Earthquake Office ( 中国 地震 局 , Zhongguo dizhenju ) according to the Law for Precaution against Earthquake Disasters of the People's Republic of China ( 中华人民共和国 防震 减灾 法 , Zhonghua renmin gongheguo fangzhen jianzai fa ) Paragraph 42 ( 国家 依法 保护 典型 地震 遗址、 遗迹  - "State legally protected typical earthquake ruins and relics") established protected areas, which thereby receive the status of natural monuments . To date there are six of them:
