The monuments of the Lower Franconian market Bad Bocklet are compiled on this page . This table is a partial list of the list of architectural monuments in Bavaria . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first drawn up on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been managed by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority.

Architectural monuments according to districts

Bad Bocklet

The former Würzburg prince-bishop's spa facilities (Q41332434) ( location ) (address Kurhausstraße 2) consist of the spa park and the roughly diamond-shaped, symmetrical group of buildings from the second half of the 18th century. Components are:

  • Princely building: two-storey, plastered three-wing complex with hipped roofs, largely renewed in the core from 1766, 1980–82 ( location ).
  • Well construction : two single-storey wings with mansard hipped roofs connected by an open peristyle, by Johann Philipp Geigel , 1786–1787 ( Lage ).
  • So-called hall structure: two-storey, plastered hip roof structure, by Andreas Gärtner, 1801–1802.
  • So-called new building: two-storey, plastered hipped roof building, 1800, 1981 largely renewed.
  • Former court kitchen, now the guest house: one-storey, plastered half-hipped roof building with half-timbered gable, around 1800 ( location ).
  • Garden sculptures: figure of an Indian, hunter, Pan, Diogenes, sandstone, around 1786.
  • Kurpark: laid out in 1786 ( location ).

Aschach

The Castle Aschach ( location ) (addresses Behind the castle 19 Castle Street 22, 24, near Castle Street) was built as a former hen bergische Castle around 1190 and destroyed several times. From 1491 until secularization it was a hunting lodge and the administrative seat of the Würzburg bishops. From 1829 it was home to an earthenware manufacture. From 1873 it was privately owned by Count Friedrich von Luxburg . After being donated to the district of Lower Franconia in 1955, it has been gradually transformed into a museum complex since 1957. The components arranged around a polygonal courtyard are:

  • Former residential building, since 1957 Graf-Luxburg-Museum, three-storey, plastered saddle roof building with stepped gables, structure bent at an obtuse angle, west side with open staircase, east side tower-like extension with palace chapel, east wing burned down in 1525 and 1553, rebuilt 1559–1579 over the older core; with equipment ( location ).
  • North wing, so-called Small Castle, today a castle restaurant, three-storey, plastered saddle roof building with stepped gables, re. 1527 ( location ).
  • to the east adjoining this three-storey so-called servants' building with a gable roof, on an older round arched, barrel-vaulted gate passage, with an eastern so-called clock tower with a square floor plan and western round so-called owl tower, re. 1530, 1527–1530 ( location )
  • Former tithe barn, now folklore museum, two-storey, plastered saddle roof building with corner blocks and arched gate on the east side, re. 1692 ( location )
