Jewish cemetery (Steinach an der Saale)
The Jewish cemetery in the municipality of Bad Bocklet in the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen belonging district Steinach was built 1874th It is located in a forest, about one kilometer north of the village, west of the road to Bad Neustadt .
history
The Jewish community in Steinach had buried their dead before 1874 in the Jewish cemetery in Kleinbardorf . After the entrance on the right there are children's graves and the other graves are arranged in four rows.
Today about 100 tombstones ( mazewot ) are preserved in the 12.80 ares large cemetery . The cemetery was enclosed with a concrete wall in the 1970s.
