The Jewish cemetery Heidingsfeld is located in Heidingsfeld , a district of the independent city of Würzburg in the Bavarian administrative district of Lower Franconia .

history
The first known documentary mention of the Jewish community in Heidingsfeld comes from the year 1298. However, Heidingsfeld only became a religious center in the early 18th century when it became the seat of the chief rabbi of Lower Franconia. The cemetery itself was laid out in 1811. The Jewish community of Heidingsfeld existed until September 22, 1942, and around this time the last burial took place in the cemetery.
Location and characterization
The cemetery is in the south of Heidingsfeld and has a size of about 56 ares . In its vicinity there is a train station, a motorway bridge and a cell phone system.
