The Geroda Jewish Cemetery in Geroda , a municipality in the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen , was established in 1910. It is located in the forest west of Geroda and can be reached via the continuation of the Viereichenweg to the edge of the forest.

The Jewish community of Geroda had buried their dead before 1910 in the Jewish cemetery in Pfaffenhausen . The dead of the Jewish community in Platz and Unterriedenberg were also buried in the new Jewish cemetery in Geroda . The Tahara house , which was also built , was demolished in 1966 because it was dilapidated . Today more than 40 tombstones ( Mazewot ) are preserved in the 9 ares large cemetery .

After the cemetery in Pfaffenhausen was closed by the state in July 1938 , the dead from the Jewish communities of the Pfaffenhausen cemetery association found their final resting place in Geroda. The last burial took place in 1940.
