Jewish cemetery (Schweinshaupten)
The Jewish cemetery Schweinshaupten is a cemetery in Schweinshaupten in Lower Franconia , a district of the Bundorf municipality in the Haßberge district .
In the 20 ares large cemetery northeast of Schweinshaupten there are 119 gravestones ( Mazewot ).
history
Before the inauguration of the cemetery, the deceased local Jews were buried in the Jewish cemetery in Ebern and in the Jewish cemetery in Kleinsteinach . A plaque near the cemetery commemorates the Jewish community of Schweinshaupten, which existed until 1935 . The last burial in the cemetery was on January 11, 1940 that of Math. Neumann.
