List of honorary doctorates from the Montan University Leoben
The list of honorary doctors of the University of Leoben lists all those from the University of Leoben , the doctorate honoris causa have been awarded in chronological order of the ceremony. In 1904, the institution founded in 1840 as the Steiermärkisch-Ständische Montanlehranstalt was renamed the Montanistische Hochschule and was granted the right to award doctorates. 2006 was the first time a woman was awarded an honorary doctorate.
