List of cultural assets in Birmenstorf

The list of cultural assets in Birmenstorf contains all objects in the municipality of Birmenstorf in the canton of Aargau that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects of category A are not shown in the municipality, objects of category B are fully included in the list, objects of category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Other protected objects can be found under other monuments , which are recorded in the building and usage regulations of the municipality and are not already included in the list of cultural assets.

Former choir of the Paritätische Kirche , demolished in 1937 , since then used as a cemetery chapel. The interior has preserved Romanesque design features with frescoes from around 1300.

Farmhouse from 1821 with an unusual three-story room layout. Consists of a barn in the middle which is flanked by two stables. Summarized by a common rafter roof .

Fountain from 1574, probably created by Anton Wyg from Brugg . The coats of arms of the Eighth Old Places of the Confederation are engraved on the iron band that encompasses the nine-cornered trough . The trough was renewed in 1756, the fountain shaft is decorated with volutes .

Of Albert Maurer planned and 1935/36 of Vogelsanger and masons built hall church in the style of the new style . Striking location on the Bollrain hill. On the south-eastern long side there is a squat rectangular tower with a bell. The church bells were originally made in the 15th to 17th centuries and come from the Lenzburg town church .
