List of cultural assets in Würenlos

The list of cultural assets in Würenlos contains all objects in the municipality of Würenlos in the canton of Aargau that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Other protected objects can be found under other monuments , which are recorded in the building and usage regulations of the municipality and are not already included in the list of cultural assets.

Extensive Benedictine monastery complex in an exclave enclosed by the territory of the Canton of Zurich . Consists of buildings, some of which date back to the first half of the 12th century. These include the monastery church, convent building, provost's office, St. Anna's chapel, mill, trot, barn and shed, as well as the three ravens inn.

Former summer residence of the abbots of Wettingen monastery , built in 1775/76 according to plans by Johannes Grubenmann . Three-part building complex, consisting of a two-storey residential building, angled farm building and a subsequently built octagonal tower.

Mill of Wettingen Monastery built around 1600 (first mentioned in 1422). Two-storey wall construction between Furtbach and the church terrace. Contains living room with paneling and furnishings from the early 19th century.

Massive square church tower , the bottom four floors of which date from the 12th and 13th centuries. Late medieval bell room , the onion helmet was created in 1764/65 by Hans Ulrich Grubenmann .
