List of cultural assets in Zweisimmen
The list of cultural assets in Zweisimmen contains all objects in the municipality of Zweisimmen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .
Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

The core of the church building, which dates back to the 13th century, has an aligned structure with a rectangular choir , closed on one side, polygonally, under a shingled gable roof . A massive choir apex tower from the early 15th century with an open bell arcade and octagonal pointed helmet and a sacristy are attached to it . In the neighborhood is the rectory , built in 1490 , a fortified tower-like plastered building under a mighty hipped roof with a short ridge and a representative three-axis main facade.

Sparse, overgrown wall remains of a castle on the highest point of the Mannenberg. The once very extensive complex together with the lower castle formed the dominant center of the Obersimmental until it was destroyed in 1350.

Preserved castle ruins with the remains of a round tower and a curtain wall . Together with the Upper Castle, which is around 200 meters away, the complex formed the center of power in the Obersimmental until it was destroyed in 1350.

In the years 1768 to 1770 a castle in the form of a baroque campaign , built on the foundations of a castle first mentioned in 1329 . The L-shaped complex consists of a two-storey corps de logis and a single-storey side wing that surrounds the castle courtyard. The courtyard, in turn, is accessed via a covered, double-armed flight of stairs . |
