In this list, the provincial governors of Vorarlberg are listed chronologically. As a state governor in is Austrian state of Vorarlberg the Deputy Governor called.

The list begins in 1923 with the official creation of the state governor by the new Vorarlberg state constitution . Previously, this office had corresponded to that of the state vice-president and was always represented by two people. Between 1939 and 1945 the state of Vorarlberg lost its sovereignty due to the annexation to the National Socialist German Reich and as a result the office of state governor did not exist during this time. After Vorarlberg was liberated by the Allies in the first few days in May 1945, the occupying powers set up a provisional state government in the form of the state committee on May 24, 1945 , whose state vice-president Jakob Bertsch ( SPÖ ) was. It was not until December 11, 1945 that a free, democratically elected state parliament was sworn in and the office of state governor was reintroduced.
