The list of landscape protection areas in Vienna indicates the landscape protection areas in the Austrian capital Vienna . There are nine protected areas that are listed under landscape protection and other areas. Together they make up around 18% of the city's area.

On the concept of the landscape protection area in Vienna's nature conservation law

Since nature conservation in Austria is a matter for the federal states , and Vienna has the status of a federal state , the city has its own nature conservation law.

There are areas that are designated on the basis of individual ordinances under Section 24 of the Vienna Nature Conservation Act. They cover a total of 6,156 hectares, which corresponds to about 15 percent of the total city area.

In addition, there are other areas that are ex lege under landscape protection (Section 24 (4) W-NSG). This includes parts of the park  protection areas (Spk) and the protected area forest and meadow belt  (SWW). These landscape protection areas cover a further 1,171 hectares.

There is also general landscape protection , which includes individual bans and authorization requirements throughout the city. This includes, for example, aspects of driving, parking and camping (Section 17 (1) line 2 W-NSG), major structural interventions (Section 18) or advertising facilities (Sections 19, 20) in the countryside.

The landscape protection areas are administered by Municipal Department  22.
