The list of National Masters of the German Chess Federation lists all chess players who have received the title of Chess Masters of the DSB or later National Masters for life from the German Chess Federation (DSB) . This title should not be confused with the older title of German Master . In the course of the re-introduction of the tournament regulations of the DSB on January 1, 1952, the title was awarded to 34 players for life, including players who had previously received the title for a limited time. From 1953 you had to occupy a front place in the German championships in order to receive the title.

The list is sorted by the year the title was received. The "FIDE title" column indicates whether the player has received a title from the World Chess Federation FIDE in addition to the national title .
