List of natural monuments in Rosenheim

The list of natural monuments in Rosenheim lists the natural monuments in the independent city of Rosenheim in Bavaria . In July 2017 in Rosenheim there were the following seven natural monuments protected according to § 28 BNatSchG .

Pedunculate oak ( Quercus robur ) on Eichfeldstrasse 47 ° 50 '25.2 "  N , 12 ° 7' 49.3"  E Eichfeldstrasse 80 Pedunculate oak worth protecting, height 18 m, crown diameter 12 m. The tree was declared a natural monument in 2000 because of its outstanding beauty and ecological importance.
Copper beech at the Heilig Blut parish church

Copper beech at the Heilig Blut parish church 47 ° 50 '8.9 "  N , 12 ° 7' 13.2"  E Happing, Zugspitzstrasse 13 Copper beech ( Fagus sylvatica f. Purpurea ) worthy of protection , height 25 m, crown diameter 17 m. The tree was planted on the occasion of the first national tree day at what was then the branch church. It was declared a natural monument in 2014 because of its peculiarity as well as its historical and local significance, as well as a characteristic design element that shapes the place and landscape.
