List of natural monuments in the Reichswald
The list of natural monuments in the Reichswald contains the natural monuments from landscape plan No. 6 (LP06) of the Kleve district. It came into legal force on February 8, 2000. (As of 2004)
The scope extends to the area of the Klever Reichswald . Due to the extent of the largest contiguous forest area on the Lower Rhine, the natural monuments are not limited to one village. A large part of the natural monuments is located in the Kranenburg area , some more in Kleve . The list contains special trees, groups of trees, hedgerows , erratic boulders and culturally and geologically interesting ravines . Since it was laid down, some trees have been badly damaged by storms or have had to be felled for the benefit of road safety.
