List of natural monuments in Straelen and Wachtendonk
The list of natural monuments in Straelen and Wachtendonk contains the natural monuments from landscape plan No. 14 of the Kleve district. Legal force since February 23, 2013.
It lists special trees, groups of trees, avenues, a boulder and a spring area with ponds at 51 different locations. They impress with their beauty, individuality and rarity or are important for scientific, cultural, historical or ecological reasons. The majority of the natural monuments are located at Haus Caen in Straelen. In addition to the gardens, there are also many individual trees defined as special individual creations of nature.
