The list of natural monuments in the Gocher Heide contains the natural monuments from landscape plan No. 7 (LP07) of the Kleve district. Legal force since December 24, 2010.

The scope of the landscape plan extends to the area of the Ice Age ridge northeast of the city of Goch , for which there is a separate landscape plan ( LP09 ). It corresponds roughly to the area in which the Palatinate emigrants settled after they were unable to start their trip to Pennsylvania (USA) for financial and war reasons. The Gocher Heide landscape plan is not bound by city limits and contains natural monuments from Bedburg-Hau , the Goch districts of Pfalzdorf and Nierswalde , and Kleve .

In it there are special individual trees, groups and rows of trees, avenues that stand out due to their beauty, peculiarity or rarity and a rampart that is of cultural and historical importance.

Wall systems in the fir bush 1 Earth wall system with hardwood strips made of beech and oak 2010 Cultural and historical significance
Regional significance
Height: approx. 0.5 to 1.5 m
Width: up to approx. 5 m
The entire fir bush is surrounded by an earth wall, in sections also by 2 parallel earth walls. Gaps are covered with strips of hardwood made of beech and oak.
The emergence of the ramparts goes back to the time of the first afforestation of the former heathland (Gocher Heide). The reforestation areas completed in sections 1619–1670 were each surrounded by walls to mark the abolition of the right to hat and graze.
