This is a list of cities in the Republic of the Congo .

The two largest agglomerations by far in the Republic of the Congo are the capital Brazzaville with a population of 1,362,764 and Pointe-Noire with a population of 816,165 (as of January 1, 2005). This means that two thirds of the country's people are concentrated in both regions.

The following table shows the cities with more than 2000 inhabitants, the results of the census of December 22, 1984 and June 6, 1996, an estimate for January 1, 2005 and the higher-level administrative unit ( region ) to which the city belongs , listed. Brazzaville forms its own capital district and does not belong to any region. The population figures refer to the actual city without the suburbs.
