List of stumbling blocks in Zaberfeld

The list of stumbling blocks in Zaberfeld includes all four memorial stones that were laid in Zaberfeld as part of the Stolpersteine project by artist Gunter Demnig on September 16, 2015 at Löweneck . On the initiative of the Zabergäu club and local history researcher Wolfgang Schönfeld, the local council approved the relocation campaign on December 16, 2014.

Zaberfeld was the only municipality in Zabergäu to have a Jewish community , which had existed since the middle of the 18th century. In the era of National Socialism , according to the municipality Zaberfeld seven persecuted Jewish citizens were killed. The memorial book of the German Federal Archives lists 12 Jewish citizens born in Zaberfeld who fell victim to the genocide of the National Socialist regime .
