List of stumbling blocks in Schorndorf

The list of stumbling blocks in Schorndorf includes all twelve stumbling blocks that have been laid in Schorndorf on four dates so far as part of the project by artist Gunter Demnig . On the initiative of Schorndorfer Naturfreunde, the first stones were set in September 2008, the last so far in June 2016.

Jun 30, 2016 Marie Anna Fetzer, born on June 15, 1908 in Schorndorf, was admitted to the Winnenden Sanatorium in May 1933 after an examination at the Tübingen University Neurological Clinic . Her son Siegfried Waldemar was born there on April 19, 1940. Only six weeks later, on May 30, 1940, Marie Anna Fetzer was admitted to the “Landespflegeanstalt” Grafeneck and murdered there on the same day as part of the Nazi euthanasia crimes .

As part of the T4 euthanasia campaign , Elsa Heinrich was murdered on November 5, 1940 in Grafeneck.
