List of top scorer in the Premier Soccer League

The list of top scorers in the Premier Soccer League includes all top scorers in the top division in South African soccer , the Premier Soccer League . In the further part the most successful players, clubs and nations are named. The top scorer is the player who scores the most goals in the course of a Premier Soccer League season. The top scorer has been awarded by the league sponsors since 1997, for example in 2006 with the " PSL Castle Premiership's Top Goal-Scorer Award " - also known as the " Lesley Manyathela Award " - and three years later with the " Absa Premiership golden boot ".

All of the winning players have won the title once so far. In 2016, Collins Mbesuma was the first player to win the title of top scorer for the second time. The negative record for winning the award are the 19 goals scored by Bernard Parker (2014), while Collins Mbesuma scored the most in 2005 with 25 goals. The top scorer won the South African championship four times in the same year (1999, 2003, 2005, 2018); In 2018, the first title division of several players took place. 15 top scorers were holders of South African citizenship , five times a player from Zambia and three times from Zimbabwe won the title, one award went to a Senegalese . Moroka Swallows was the top scorer four times, making it the most successful club in this category.
