The parish church of St. Nicholas was damaged in the peasant uprising in 1525 . Originally part of the parish of Haus , Aich became an independent parish in 1787.

The building consists of a late Gothic two-bay choir with a 5/8 end from the second half of the 15th century, whose ribbed vault rests on nose-like consoles and which is illuminated by two-lane tracery windows , and, separated by a round-arched front arch , a wide, baroque nave from the 1st half of the 18th century with flat barrel vaults and rectangular windows. The wooden west gallery dates from 1913. The roof turret wears an onion helmet.

The furniture is from the beginning of the 18th century, the high altar picture shows St. Nicholas and comes from the 19th century, the fron arch cross from the 17th century. There is a large Madonna with a protective coat from 1720/30, a painting depicting the conflagration in Assach around 1749, as well as a Sunday Trinity , a Mariazeller Maria and the hll. Florian and Nikolaus (referred to as Johann Pöttschnickh ). Carl Billich's organ dates from 1888.
