The Puttererschloss stands on a hill above the Putterersee . The originally medieval fortified courtyard was owned by the putterers from 1437 to 1829. Today's building is a three-storey Stöckl from the 16th century with a steep hipped roof. The exterior was redesigned in the 19th and 20th centuries, and some barrel vaults are still preserved inside.

Next to the castle is the free-standing Mariahilf castle chapel. The permission to measure is documented with 1737, the altar dates from the 2nd quarter of the 18th century.
