The castle was built by Christoph Galler from 1590 to 1610 and was owned by the family until 1816. Today the castle is a remedy factory of the Bartenstein family. The four-wing building has a rustikaportal, above a clock tower. Two-storey column arcades in the rectangular courtyard. The chapel was built in 1644, but has since been rebuilt. |

The listed Schüttkasten is an outbuilding of Lannach Castle. Its building structure is traced back to the Middle Ages, it is no longer recognizable from the outside due to renovations. |

The site is on several wooded properties, investigations of the burial mounds in this area have been documented for the years from around 1840 (discovery of weapons, walls), other mounds were investigated in 1886. No grave sites are recognizable in nature . Without an expert guide, it is not possible to distinguish whether the uneven ground at the site is due to natural erosion, artificially created historical burial mounds or other later human interventions. Note: The location is in the north-west of Lannach on the ridge on which Lannach Castle (not mentioned in the BDA's list of monuments) is located, on plots of several land registers (deposit numbers): No. 729/13 at EZ 149 and No. 729/19 at EZ 234 KG 61220 Lannach. A find of deposited objects from the Urnfield time in the KG Lannach is published for the year 1840. Of his 300 or so objects, only two axes have survived (or where they are kept known). |
