List of listed objects in Groß Sankt Florian

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of listed objects in Groß Sankt Florian contains the 16 listed , immovable objects of the community Groß Sankt Florian in the Styrian district of Deutschlandsberg . From 2015 it will also include those monuments that are located in the former municipality of Unterbergla, which merged with Groß St. Florian from 2015.

The sites in the south of Groß St. Florian (former municipality of Unterbergla, Michlgleinz, Mönichgleinz etc.) are largely archaeological settlement and grave sites. These places were mainly discovered during the work on the pipelines, high-voltage lines and railway lines through the Gleinz and Laßnitztal valleys. They lie below the surface of the earth and are not recognizable in nature without expert guidance and without humus removal. Whether uneven ground due to the protected object or to subsequent human intervention as the search trenches archaeological research , grave robbers, Ravines, the creation of fields, fields, the construction of pipelines or other changes, or whether hills, bumps, etc. are due to natural processes (erosion, alluvial deposits, flood horizons, etc.) cannot be distinguished without prior information. No remains of the wall are visible.

The photos linked to the sites do not show the place (s) themselves where archaeological finds were made or are still expected, but the local situation of the agricultural and forestry area around these sites. The sites are located on private property and are not to be entered without the consent of the property owners or without official authorization. The degree of accuracy of the recording and the specified coordinates does not exceed the accuracy of the information provided by the Federal Monuments Office and / or in specialist publications (e.g. the property data). Since the places are exposed without a fence, no more precise images are linked to protect against unauthorized access, even if this would be possible within the scope of the freedom of panorama under Austrian law. The sites can also be spread over several plots (which do not have to be next to each other).

The community of Groß St. Florian is located in the Laßnitz valley in that area in which a series of archaeological sites has documented dense settlement since the Bronze Age. In total, the areas of archaeological excavations in this area (central Laßnitz valley) are over 40 hectares.
