In 1882 the Helenenschacht was sunk in the (from 1921 cross-border) lignite mining district Brennberg (Brennbergbánya). The associated winding tower was walled in 1914/15 for safety reasons. In 1930 the Helenenschacht was shut down as a production shaft. In 1986 the shaft was backfilled by order of the district administration, the dilapidated headframe was acquired by private parties in 1991, restored and made accessible.

The former cemetery and defensive wall with keyhole slits was built over a nine-cornered plan. The entrance gate is marked 1647 (dated). The Karner or the burial chapel of the aristocratic Tarnoczy family is a small rectangular gable building with a round arch portal and has a groin vault , which probably dates from the 16th century.

A small, medieval building with a choir from the 15th century. The church, surrounded by a former defensive wall, was redesigned in Baroque style between 1640 and 1647 . The four-storey west tower with a stone helmet dates from the 17th century.
