List of German labor ministers

Labor ministers are or were those members of the Federal or Reich Cabinet who deal with the concerns of employers and employees.

Previous female incumbents were Hannelore Mensch in 1989 and Regine Hildebrandt in 1990 (both in the GDR) as well as Ursula von der Leyen from 2009 to 2013 and then Andrea Nahles until 2017 in the Federal Republic. Hubertus Heil has been the incumbent since March 2018 .
