List of German ambassadors in Guatemala

The list of German ambassadors in Guatemala contains the highest-ranking representatives of the North German Confederation , the German Reich and the Federal Republic of Germany in Guatemala . The embassy is based in Guatemala City .

The heads of the German legation in Guatemala City had the following titles:

With a state treaty between the German Empire and Guatemala, it was agreed on September 20, 1887 that citizens of the two states would be treated on an equal footing with residents when purchasing land on the territory of the other contracting party. This treaty expired on March 14, 1915 and was renewed on October 4, 1924 by a trade agreement between the German Reich and Guatemala.
