List of German ambassadors in the Republic of the Congo

The list of German ambassadors in the Republic of the Congo contains the ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of the Congo . The embassy is based in Brazzaville .

In June 1997 the embassy in Brazzaville was closed during the civil war and business was taken over by the German embassy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in neighboring Kinshasa . The German embassy in Kinshasa was henceforth double accredited for both the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo .

On October 1, 2012, the embassy in Brazzaville reopened. The first manager was Ralf Teepe as a chargé d'affaires a. i. The German embassy is located in the building of the French embassy in Brazzaville. The grand opening took place on January 25, 2013.
