The list of German ambassadors in Madagascar contains the ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic in Madagascar as well as the representatives of the German Empire in the Kingdom of Madagascar . The embassy is based in Antananarivo . The embassy is also responsible for Mauritius .
