List of the natural spatial units in Schleswig-Holstein

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list of the natural spatial units in Schleswig-Holstein reflects the higher-order natural spatial structure insofar as they are wholly or partially in the area of Schleswig-Holstein . It is based on the natural spatial structure for Germany, as it was carried out since the 1950s and presented in the manual of the natural spatial structure of Germany , according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment in this federal state .

The structure created by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) in 1994, which differs slightly from the older one, was put in front, the older numbering was put in brackets. The old system was still adopted for the lower units. The main natural units are further subdivided into sub-units, sub-units and basic units, the list of which, however, has only been taken into account if available and is dealt with in the corresponding articles.

Furthermore, these units also have the property of being represented across borders, not being based on the political division into federal states and districts, and accordingly they also find recurrence in neighboring articles in peripheral areas, so here the overlap with Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
