List of Portuguese ambassadors in Guyana

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Guyana lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Guyana . The countries have had direct diplomatic relations since 1979.

In 1983 , the first Portuguese ambassador to Guyana, Portugal's representative, based in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, was accredited . After that, Portugal did not open its own embassy in the Guyanese capital Georgetown , the country continues to belong to the administrative district of the Portuguese embassy in Venezuela, whose head of mission is secondly accredited in Guyana (as of 2019).
