List of Portuguese ambassadors in Paraguay

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Paraguay lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Paraguay . The two states have had direct diplomatic relations since at least 1846. Portugal then did not open its own embassy in Paraguay, the Portuguese embassy in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires is also responsible for Paraguay, and the ambassador on duty is double accredited in Paraguay (as of 2019).

In 1957, Portugal opened a Legação de 2ª Classe in the Paraguayan capital Asunción , a legation without embassy rank . Today there is still an honorary consulate of Portugal there.
