List of Portuguese ambassadors in Canada
The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Canada lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Canada . The two countries have had direct diplomatic relations since at least 1952. On April 12, 1952, Portugal's legation began work in Ottawa , and on May 16, 1955, the representation was upgraded to a full embassy.
The embassy is located at number 645 on Island Park Drive in Ottawa.
In addition to the embassy, Portugal has three consulates general in Montreal , Toronto and Vancouver , and two honorary consulates in Edmonton and Winnipeg .
