List of Spanish ambassadors in Egypt . The Spanish embassy is located at 41, Ismail Mohamed, Zamalek in Cairo . The ambassadors are also regularly accredited to the government in Karthum .

history

Queen Isabella I of Castile sent Petrus Martyr von Anghiera on a special mission to the court of Sultan al-Ghuri in 1501/1502 . From 1516 Egypt was under foreign rule for a long time, first that of the Ottoman Empire , from 1882 to 1922 that of the British Empire .
